I’m drawn to ideas that feel a little unexpected and unorthodox. Whether I’m shooting, editing, or experimenting with mixed media, I’m always looking for a way to make the film more interesting than the obvious version of it.

BUSINESS AND FILM?

This video explores where I currently find myself as a business student with a growing passion for filmmaking, and how I’m learning to balance those two sides of my life. Originally created for my BM2514 Digital Marketing class, it also became one of the most personal videos I’ve made, and probably the most I’ve ever put myself in front of the camera. I’m hoping it marks the beginning of sharing more than just my finished work, whether that’s behind-the-scenes content, documenting my filmmaking journey, or creating educational videos and tutorials. Becoming more comfortable on camera opens up a completely new side of content creation for me, and hopefully gives me a way to share more consistently while bringing people along for the process.

I usually start with a visual idea, then figure out how far I can push it through the shoot, the edit, or whatever experiment comes next. A lot of the work happens in the small decisions between the first idea and the final frame.
